A somewhat disjointed net due to a continental QSO on the frequency which necessitated shifting and problems with SDRs Conditions and reports were not good, better luck next week Bob reported joining the earlier 20m net where conditions were better. 73s to Brian and other listeners.

ROAR IPP Ed N4EDT opened the formal meeting at 2030Z, following a lively discussion of how ROAR members in the Los Angeles area could help install the antennas and radio equipment at the QTH of Penelope W6FLY. There were 23 check ins including :-

Theme of the meeting today was putting the fun back into fellowship.
The ROAR roundup meeting in Lynchburg, VA has been set for the second week of September 2023. Planning is already underway.
Rotary club activities were reported with some very interesting projects being named.
AR activity was voiced with DX openings and a new country work and reports of former workings of Bouvet Island DXpedition were shared.
At 2143 Z Ed N4EDT adjourned the zoom meeting to allow some to QSY to 14.290 MHz for the ROAR Radio net.
AT 2145Z Joe AF1E sent out a call he was 5/9+ and gave me 5/9
Ed N4EDT was 5/9+ and also gave me 5/9
Peter WA6 LBY and Craig KL7H were also on but could not be heard as was Sanford N7PIB.
The radio net closed at 2200Z
We accomplished our purpose of putting fun back into fellowship!
