Much chatter this week about antennas and towers.
Ed had been contacted regarding his help in taking down a CB antenna and tower. On visual inspection it was about 80 feet high. The consensus of the group was that the operator was using more than the 5 watt power limit.
Joe AF1E did a show and tell on his stealth antenna - it was very hard to see. He then showed us his antenna launcher, a neat piece of equipment.
Peter WA6LBY showed us his two WAS award certificates
Some of our group have been traveling and visiting others of the group and doing makeups at the local Rotary and radio clubs.
There was some discussion of invasive weeds and plants it queried as to whether Kudzu could be loaded as an antenna.
For the benefit of the group one member explained what Quokkas are.
A rich time of Rotay and AR fellowship.
Ed closed the group 2132Z
