ROAR IPP Ed N4EDT called the meeting to order at 2030Z following a warm up discussion of antennas and advice to a new ham and new member of ROAR.

ED began by introducing the newest ham on the planet, Penelope. Each in turn welcomed and congratulated her on passing her exam. They went on to offer some hints and advice on how to gain the best experience from her new hobby. Originally from England she moved to the USA and became an airline pilot. She was interested in amateure radio but did not follow through with it until later. As a member of the International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians she encountered members of ROAR and pursued licensing. She was offered much useful advice and information.
With the first snowfall of the season the WX was cussed and discussed and some very impractical suggestions as to what to do with it.
Rotary club activities were also reported on as were band openings.
ROAR Lifetime membership was also shared.
A good time of Rotary and AR fellowship.
