From Nicholas G4HCK
Well today did not start out well.
I was late on parade. I did not notice the change in times. Phil kindly stayed on the digital net longer than planned. Then 20m. OK I know I was late but to have the over the horizon radar looking for me was a bit much. Eventually that went off at around 08.10. I was talking to M0ICG on 14.294 and we were then joined by F1CFA G0EGW and in the background Bill.
So today was different.
Nicholas Wilkinson

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G3SZF Bob was net and was joined by
G4LXD Bill
G3JJR John
G0EGW Vernon
Conditions and signals were generally good around UK. John G7OAI had let me know that his portable location would be occupied by a bike ride so he would not be joining. Both Vernon and Bob reported little success with the earlier 20m net. Otherwise an interesting chat, including Vernon reporting on his club's car parking duty and Bob mentioned his upcoming Essay competition. G3LUW Brian later emailed to say that he had been listening via SDR. 73s to him and other listeners.
