Much chatter about the Houston RI Conventional and the ROAR Dinner.
Plans for Dayton Hamfest were shared and advice given - ie good shoes!
Antenna function, design, construction, feed points and effectiveness were discussed.
FT8 mode was explained and results by users were given voice.
Environmental issues such as the impact of feral cats and goats were discussed.
On an issue of importance to Rotarians, juvenile rates of self harm and death were considered.
The sharing of personal information on forums, such as ours, needs to be considered carefully as it is not known who may be listening.
A lot of grist for all our mills this week.
