From Nicholas G4HCK
Today was interesting . I found a frequency slightly away from our normal frequency and called CQ. No Takers. Then after 20 minutes a local found me and we had a chat. We were then joined by Vernon (G0EGW) and I eventually cleared the frequency at 09.30 (local time).

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G7OAI/P John was net control operating from his hill and was joined by
G4LXD Bill
G3JJR John
Conditions and signals were generally good with unusually low QRM. Bob mentioned his chat with Brian G3LUW who listens to the net regularly via SDR. He also advised on spreading a few points around during the Contest and reminded members of the Tuesday ZOOM gathering. Although a small net it was interesting covering personal, radio and Rotary activities. 73s to G3LUW Brian and other listeners.
From Noel WD8QHD/VA3
IPP ROAR Ed N4EDT opened the formal meeting at 2030 Z

Much of the meeting time was spent in having Stefano IU5KZG introduce himself and his AR activities and his Rotary and its activities.
He is a relative newcomer to both AR and Rotary and he found our meeting through the Italian radio group.
His club, not far from Florence, Italy, is active in community projects and in membership recruitment. Due to the lateness of the hour in Italy he could not stay for the entire meeting.
The remainder of the meeting was focused on club activities band openings and idea for the RI Convention in Houston and the Dayton Hamfest.
Craig KL7H had a compelling showing of a landslide in Alaska this past week. Fortunately there was no loss of life.
Health and welfare reports of members and significant others were also shared.
Ed closed the meeting at 2211 Z
