The meeting focused on having By-Laws that meet RI's standards and having them accepted, adopted and agreed upon by the world-wide fellowship of Rotarians of Amateur Radio. The current By-Laws do not meet RI's requirements.
The tenor of the group was that the issue be resolved as soon as possible.
A secondary issue was determining who is and who is not a paid up, i.e. voting, member of ROAR.. Lots of discussion and questions regarding the Constitution and By-Laws of ROAR.
The meeting was conducted in the Spirit of Rotary's Four Way Test.
Ed N4EDT closed the meeting at 2132Z

Note from VK2MCB: In the spirit of Rotary, the report from Noel has not been edited in any way as it is important for all ROAR members to understand the views of the North American members.
However, some of the views of US ROAR members expressed above, particularly in regard the by-laws, are not shared by a number of non-US based ROAR members. It is important therefore that all views be considered and discussed in the future.
