Conditions and signals were generally good although Vernon was experiencing QRM. Bob reported joining the earlier 20m net with Bill VK4ZD, Vernon and Nick G4HCK, Bill being very strong. Another enjoyable chat.73s to G3LUW Brian and other listeners.

Due to compute/internet issues IP ROAR President Ed N4EDT asked Eastern VP ROAR Joe AF1E to host the meeting. The meeting opened at 2030Z following an interesting warm up session. There were 16 check ins including:-

Joe AF1E invited first time check in Tom W4HCP to introduce himself to the group. Tom shared with us his interests in AR and his involvement with Rotary.
In turn the members introduced themselves and welcomed Tom to the group.
Health and welfare reports of the group followed. Joe AF1E mentioned the ROAR Secretary Phil N9HWO would like to step down from that position. It has been suggested combining the offices of Secretary and Treasurer.
There much discussion on slide rules and their use and unintended usage. This was followed by some very interesting show and tell.
Craig KL7H had some informative show and tell on using a mobile rig in a rental car.
Ed N4EDT when he was able gave us an update on the RI convention ROAR activities.
The WX was also discussed.
A time of good Rotary fellowship was enjoyed. by all.
