Good morning Jean Pierre
The SFI was down a little yesterday which impacted upon the signal but on a positive note at least I got a report from Bill so lets hope this is the start of many more QSO’s. It’s interesting how the band is becoming more lively as conditions improve. What we really would like is an SFI of 110 and a totally clear 14.294
From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
Yes Doug, Yes Nick,
Doug, for this Net meeting, I was very surprise to hear you and Bill in so good conditions ( 55 at pick ). It was just like transmissions of stations very strong. The QSB was important, which is explaining the question. But, later, you disappeared....
Nick, as neighbour ( ! ) I received you just to the limit with a 3 by 1 signal. The same for Vernon.
This Sunday morning, I was disturbed by some Spanish stations, very powerful...How many Kilowatts do they use ?? From Alicante, I suppose the path is very close !!
Doug, I hope too for better conditions as we had earlier with Pertti and Klaus. I was not aware for Klaus...A clever man; isn't !

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694

Conditions and signals were good around UK. It was good to have John G7OAI back amongst us and gave an update on trying to resolve his interference issues. Vernon reported on some success with the earlier 40/20m nets. Bob noted that condx over the weekend had been good having worked some good DX on 20 and 10m. Another interesting net covering radio and Rotary activities - although Geoff disappeared prematurely - some gremlin?
