From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
We are having a heavy problem with the ROAR net meeting...
I just can report the 7105 meeting with Jacques F4FCW on Sunday and also on Thursday. The reports are the same 51 / 59+. High QSB !
Nobody else can be heard. And the 20m was dead. Just a very weak signal from Jacques. We have done also a very interesting test trial on 18,140 with PA3AHC. I received him 51/57 while using an untuned 20m dipole.
On Sunday, I had an Italian station 2 KHz upper and a spanish station 2 KHz down. So, the QRM noise level was very high !!!
Some time earlier I heard VK3KCD and ZL1BFS on the wiki internet.
That's all Phil !
0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G7OAI John was net control and was joined by
Brian G3LUW was listening and sent some snaps of his aerial array, sadly to be dismantled shortly. Conditions and signals were variable around UK particularly with Bill experiencing heavy QRM. With Brian relinquishing his net control role Geoff kindly offered to have a go in a week or two. A good net with interesting chat about radio and Rotary activities with everyone keen to get out to enjoy the sunshine.

Following the main topic of last week Ed N4EDT had contacted the designated ROAR President-Elect Vernon and he has agreed to fulfill his commitment as ROAR President for the next term. To do so Vernon will require assistance to function at the Houston convention and the running of the zoom net.
In addition to Rotary and ham radio activities there was some show and tell of CW keyers, The local WX was discussed (and cussed) and band openings and the current CW contest.

From Nicholas G4HCK
Good morning from a lovely sunny UK (17c)
Really all I can say is Ditto to my last email. Peanut was very enjoyable on Sunday but HF, someone has forgotten to push the switch to on.
Today Tuesday was the same.
Let’s hope the switch is on, next Sunday.
