Brian had phoned to say he would be listening. Conditions and signals were variable around UK particularly as the net progressed. Vernon reported on earlier 40m activity and 20m inactivity. He also advised that a ZOOM meeting had been set up for Tuesday morning - it should be fun to see what everyone looks like! A good net with interesting chat about radio and Rotary activities.

Major item of business was President Ed's announcement that the ROAR President Elect did feel he could fulfil the responsibilities of the office of ROAR President.
President ED opened the floor for discussion and suggestion. It was decided that ED would contact the two most recent ROAR presidents (Bill VK4ZD and John ZL2JPM) for their input.
This reporter, on reflection, offers the idea since, in recent times, we have had two ROAR Presidents from Europe, Lazlo CT/AD6XX and Pertti EA7GSU and the last ROAR President from ROAR Japan was Shige JJ1FXD, ROAR should bypass ROAR Europe and ROAR UK and seek a candidate from ROAR Japan.
The remainder of the meeting was given over to Rotary and Ham Radio activity reports.
Craig tied the ribbons on with stories and visuals of WWII radio equipment.
President Ed closed the meeting at 2146Z
A good time of ROAR and Rotary sharing.

Note from Phil VK2MCB. While the above is a correct record of the Zoom meeting, it is my understanding that the issue of President Elect has progressed past the points discussed above and further information in this regard will be forthcoming from President Ed in due course.
