Good morning from a lovely sunny UK a heat wave of 13C
Sunday – what can I say. It was contest day and that sums up everything. The one positive side was the band was jammed so the enthusiastic amateurs are still about. Perhaps I am in the minority as I have never been attracted to contests so I switched off and headed down stairs. Last weekend the clocks changed by one hour which now makes the US Zoom net not so attractive as it starts at 21.30hrs local time and finishes to late so I will become an occasional visitor now.
Well I am off out into the garden and the sunshine

Good morning from a sunny UK
Gosh there were a lot of crashes and bangs on the band today. Around 09.00 local (08.00 GMT) I managed to make contact with Bill although the contact was challenging. However saying that the band did appear to be getting better. I had been monitoring the frequency for 30 minutes before and I could hear some stations talking away which I assumed were ROAR stations.
Well the sunshine calls time to qsy to the garden.
