We met with Vernon and Nick this Sunday on 14294. I received Vernon with a good 58 and Nick with a nice 56. Conditions were difficult with an Italian working 1 KHz lower and a strong QSB.
On 7105 it was impossible to work with the Italian contest day. Jacques F4FCW tried unsuccessfully. No report from Serge, nor of Malcolm.

Brian G3LUW had emailed that he would be listening. Conditions and signals were really poor with most members relying on SDRs. So a difficult net, but John G3JJR reminded members of the ROAR AGM by ZOOM on 31 July at 1200Z when Vernon G0EGW would be installed as ROAR President. Hopefully better condx next week.

Notice about Brian G3LUW
G3LUW is now QRT after 65 years.
I had a heart operation in December and they inserted 4 stents in my heart. Two week's ago I became unconscious at home and was rushed to hospital.
After a few days I had a pacemaker fitted. The surgeon told me that it might be possible to run less than 5 watts, but anything greater would be very dangerous.
I could try 'remote' operation, but at the age of 86 I have decided to hang up my microphone. 73 Brian
