From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
Dear friends,
It was not too bad...The QSB on both the 20 m and 40 m band was very strong, but we have done the job.
On the 40m band, with a 41 signal we had contact with Bill VK4ZD. Doug was in the noise but present. We met with Vernon and Jacques F4FCW who were trying a new rig.
Then we switch on 20 m band with Vernon, Jacques, Malcolm, Nick, always with the same figure 41...55. Malcolm was surprisingly very strong, but with QSB.
Remember : We have a zoom meeting with our brand new president Vernon on Tuesday, just after the net meeting. Remember !!!
So soon
Jean-Pierre F1CFA

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G3SZF Bob was net control and joined by
G3JJR John
G0EGW Vernon
M1ADK Geoff
PA3AHC Malcolm
Conditions and signals were reasonable around UK and it was good that Malcolm joined the net although QRM prevented reliable copy. It was also good to hear from Vernon, newly installed President of IFROAR. We all look forward to his impact on the Fellowship. Greetings to listeners including Brian G3LUW and John G7OAI who was temporarily absent during roof repairs.
