From Nicholas G4HCK
Despite having the grandchildren visiting I was given a pass to switch the rig on. 14.294 was occupied by a contest station and so it went on all around this frequency so I have adjourned to pay football or whatever Oliver has in mind.
I just need to clarify a comment I made re Covid. The amount of time between the two vaccinations in the UK is around 8 weeks not as I stated. This time has an impact upon its effectiveness. If you look at the following link the doctor gives more information.
Look around 8 minutes into the video.

Conditions and signals were reasonable around UK. Vernon reported little activity on the earlier HF nets but received a 1/1 report from ZL. on 20m. He also reminded members about the Presidential handover ZOOM meeting on 31 July, details to be issued by ROAR Communicator. he also conveyed greetings from down under. A good net covering radio activity and Rotary matters as face-to-face meetings restart.

From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
On this Tuesday morning, we meet on 7105 with Jacques F4FCW. Local time 8h30. He was 59+ to me.
We have been waiting until 9h15 local time then we met Serge F1FBL, through a high QSB and a report from 55 to 31.
We decided to move on 14294, then we lose the contact. Suddenly, Malcolm appeared to me with a signal balanced 55 to 31...We were so glad.
We have not QSO Vernon nor Nick. Jacques tried to contact them using a 800 Watts amplifier, but no result.
So soon
Jean-Pierre F1CFA
By the way, thanks a lot to Diana for the last communicator. A nice link for all of us
