From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
This morning a contest was on.
40m was corrupted and so for the 20m band.
I heard some stations from outside Europe but they were crashed by European stations.
Anyway, the sun is upset !!
Thanks a lot
Jean-Pierre CFA
From Nicholas G4HCK
There was a lot of activity on the band as the IARU contest took place. 14.294 was free but there were stations so close each side that if I had given a cq call I think I would have felt like the filling in a sandwich – the station each side being the bread. So I gave up.

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G3SZF Bob was net control and joined by
G7OAI/P John on his hill
G3JJR John
M1ADK Geoff
G3LUW Brian listening
Conditions and signals were not good with most stations relying on SDRs for better copy. Limited number this morning probably because of condx but nevertheless another interesting net. With Covid relaxations most Rotary clubs are looking forward to resuming face-to-face meetings.

Vernon needed to switch to LP to contact F1CFA and PA3AHC

From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
As a resume of the net meeting ROAR for today !
***First of all, congratulations to Serge COUSIN ( F1BFL ) for having initiated a brand new Rotary Club in his country. It was very important to say***
For that reason he was not following the ROAR activity during the last weeks.
Please Serge, let us know the name of your new Rotary Club.

For the meeting Roar of this Tuesday, I just can tell you that I was not QRV on 7105, but only on 14294. As a special agreement, the beginning was from 7h00Z to 7h30Z on 14294.
We met with G0EGW Vernon, our president, with G4HCK, Nick, with PA3AHC Malcolm and with F1BFL Serge. It's funny to say, the reports are from 51 following that list, with a strong QSB, but we have done it !!!!
Vernon tried to QSO VK4ZD Bill, but It was difficult with these two Tigers ROARing on the frequency (14297 and 14293...).
Thanks a lot everybody...
I am joking, but Today Nick has been satisfied, I guess !
Best Wishes
Jean-Pierre F1CFA

From Serge Cousin F1BFL
‌Hello dear friends
Very happy for this first contact with the ROAR group.
The Club that I have just created is a satellite Club whose name is: Rotary Club satellite de Roubaix-Hem.
Looking forward to meeting you again.
From Nicholas G4HCK
Yes the door was opened slightly today and I managed a quick contact with Bill and your good self (I had better not forget Vernon !!). The band was like a roller coaster one minute Ok and the next minute gone. Let’s hope it’s the start of better times as far as propagation is concerned.
Nicholas Wilkinson
From Malcolm P3AHC
And I had a glancing QSO with Bill under a heavy noise blanket which then took him away…
