Bonjour à tous,
Hello Brian Hello Malcolm...and Bill for report.
Before 8,00Z I tried to join Bill VK4ZD but nothing...At the same
time, I was listening on the SDR Kiwi of New Zealand and I heard
VK3KCD discussing with VK4ZD.
Later, on 7105, I discovered Jacques and quickly Serge.
With Jacques we had a 59 BW exchange and with F1BFL a good 55 B/W exchange.
Between Serge and Jacques, a dreaming 59+ :: The R9 antenna is running well.
Discuss about the antenna tester and benefits got by Serge.
Mention of a possible link on the 2 M band. Jacques is super equipped on 144 MHz.
He mentioned very long distance QSO's.
We tried on several occasions to call G3LUW and PA3AHC...But nothing heard...
As usual, a high power italian station was on 7103 splattering a lot...what a QRM ! but Jacques was making a difference when using 800W !!!
Keep Safe
Best wishes from Jean-Pierre CFA
0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G3LUW Brian was net control and was joined by
G3JJR John
F4FCW Jacques
G4LXD Bill
Signals were good but adjacent contest QRM made for difficult copy for some at times.
John G7OAI did not join the net today as he is having trouble with his signals causing his router tripping.
Jacques F4FCW also had high QRM and was only copying Brian. Brian reported on earlier 40m net activity but nothing heard on 20m.
John G3JJR would again join the ZOOM meeting later. A smaller gathering today but always interesting.
