From Nicholas G4HCK
Good morning from a sunny UK
This morning net was a great improvement as Bill was 5.7 ish. And what’s more when I look at the Solar Ham web site there is a sun spot on the sun. What with Perseverance on Mars and a sun spot on the sun what more do we want – yes I know good propagation.
I thought you may like to know we have a VIP attending our club meeting this Thursday evening (see below) – he is travelling thousands of miles to join us. If you feel like poppingin please do. Zoom link below.

Note from Nicholas:
This month's Zoom meeting on the 25th starts at 7:30pm is featuring ‘AMATEUR RADIO in NEW ZEALAND’ an overview live from NZ by Doug ZL1BFS of what occurs there. We hope you will be able to join us.

0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G3SZF Bob was net control and was joined by
G3LUW Brian
G3JJR John
G3OKT John
G7OAI John
Conditions and signals were good. Brian reported on his earlier QSO with EU stations on 40m and indeed good contact with VK4ZD on 20m, so perhaps propagation is improving. It was good to hear from John G7OAI again having addressed his router issues. John G3OKT was difficult copy, clearly problems his end. John G3JJR continued to enjoy the N4EDT Zoom gatherings on Sunday evenings. Everyone looking forward to Government announcements about release from lockdown!
