From Nicholas G4HCK
Good morning Phil
Although some people put down Peanut and DMR etc one of the factors which I think is excellent is it allows people to talk. I was very interested in the comments about electric cars and the issues you have in Australia compared to the UK. This transfer of knowledge I find is one of the important parts of Rotary fellowship which is sometimes not given the importance it should have.
Anyway Peanut had a nice group on today but 20m I felt a little lonely and went back to checking the weather via NOAA.

Conditions and signals were reasonable and improved around UK. A smaller gathering than usual with others listening but nevertheless an interesting discussion.

From Noel WD8QHD/VA3
Although we were few in number it was an interesting and informative meeting.
In the warm up session Craig KL7H gave a good show and tell on a Drake amplifier that had been subjected to excessive heat. Modesty keep the group from outlining the necessary steps for repair and restoration.
Immediate Past ROAR President Ed N4EDT called the meeting to order at 2030Z
There were 10 Check ins including:-
Rick K9THO
Craig KL7H
Joe AF1E
Bill KC4D
Dixon KC5PL
Nate N8TE
Noel NM5AB
Phil N9HWO
Ron Lu2AH
There was some follow-up discussion to the AGM. It centered on improving information between the Regional ROAR groups - ROAR ANZO, ROAR Japan and ROAR RIBI. The group felt it would be helpful if those groups that have Zoom meetings could publicize the times and log in details for those meetings. It was deemed very helpful if all ROAR members worldwide were registered with HamClubOn Line under the ROAR banner. This information would expedite knowing the extent of our total membership. Joe AF1E offered to be of help to those needing it to be so registered.
Another topic of discussion was the various digital modes and how members could become active in them. There were many offers of help to do this.
Concerns over vaccinations and lack thereof was also discussed.
There followed the usual reports of Rotary and AR activity.
IPP Ed N4EDT closed the meeting at 2123Z.
