From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
It was a very bad day !
We exchanged a 42 poor signal with Bill VK4ZD.
Later, I met the local net of amateurs radio and, even on 80m, the signals were going up and down to the ground level.
It's abnormal !
I'm Looking forward to the zoom meeting Tuesday

Negative reports on the earlier 20m net. Rotary meetings continue by ZOOM but some prospect of face-to-face meetings in due course. Bob reported on his club fundraising with ecoracing balloons and preparations for litter picking in support of World Environment Day.

Ed N4EDT asked Joe AF1E to screen share and demonstrate Flight Aware. This program
uses radio and computers to track aircraft in flight. It tracks both civilian and military aircraft.
When an area such as Atlanta or O Hare is viewed the sight is amazing. Joe AF1E said that for about $200 one could set up a station such as his. It also has personal use if one’s flight is delayed or cancelled it allows for a new booking to be made.
The Cajun Summit was roundly discussed and culinary delights were described in great detail.
Rigs and antennas also were a topic of much discussion. There was some reporting of Rotary and amateur radio activities.
A good meeting with great humour and fellowship.
President Ed N4EDT closed the meeting at 2155Z

0730-0830z ANZO-Europe Zoom Meeting
From Phil VK2MCB
The meeting was held as a first trial with Nicholas G4HCK using the Zoom licence of his Radio Club.
Five members participated, Douglas ZL1BFS, John ZL2JPM, Phil VK2MCB, Nicholas G4HCK and Vernon G0EGW.
I know others tried to join but failed due to differing circumstances, one of which was missing a changed start time and the amendment being at the end of a long weekly report.
But, the trial was judged a success by those who did manage to talk and will be held on a monthly basis. The next one will be the last Tuesday in May at 0730Z. Reminder will be sent out the week leading up.

From Nicholas G4HCK
Good morning Jean Pierre
We have just finished the zoom net. There were 5 of us on today 2 ZL, 1 VK and two Gs.
The decision was taken to have monthly zoom meetings so the next one will be the last Tuesday in May.
Phil will send out the reminder and a zoom link nearer the time.
I am sorry you were not able to connect today. The hour meeting went very quickly and the topics were varied.
We even had a video guided tour of the Readhead antenna estate ! (G0EGW).
I just managed to hear Bill today on 20m so a good start to the day.
