Please note the new times for nets highlighted in red below:
Sunday 17th May 2020

Due to the need to make the 20m net earlier I suggest that it take this time slot and that the Digital net go to 0600z.

0530z - 0600z next Sunday
From Nick G4HCK
Great to talk on Peanut. However 20m – I think I missed the boat here as I spent 45 minutes calling CQ and that was it. There was an adjacent station that slowly drifted into me but stopped just short of the 294 frequency.
One positive aspect of the shutdown here in the UK is the noise level has dropped from sometimes a S5 to nothing although today it was S1.
0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Bob G3SZF
G3LUW Brian was net control and was joined by
G7OAI/P John, operating from a nearby hill.
G3JJR John
G3OKT John
G4LXD Bill
Conditions and inter-G condx were good, as were reports. Otherwise discussion focused on how members are coping with the lock-down and keeping their Rotary activities live, particularly supporting local good causes.
1900z NA Transcontinental net on 7.185
The Net will be on 7.185MHZ

From Bill VK4ZD
I arranged with Nick G4HCK to try 0530z but made the silly mistake of using the wrong antenna. By the time I realised my mistake it was 0545z - just in time to hear Nick say that he couldnt hear anything as he signed.
