0700z-0730z D-Star Net

0730z - 0800z Anzo Net on 7,105 +/- QRM

Doug ZL1BFS was 58-9 and gave me 59+10
Jean-Pierre F1CFA was a wonderful 56 and gave me the same
Peter VK3KCD was 58-9 and gave me 59, advised he will be  in Canberra next weekend
John ZL2JPM was 58-9 and gave me 59
Vernon G0EGW was suspected as being there - only 11 here

0800z-0900z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,294 / 14,285 Long Path

Vernon G0EGW was 11 at 0808z, up to 54-5 at 0844z and finally 56-7 at 0906z on LP,  giving me 56
Nick G4HCK was 11 at 0844z, 33-44 at 0917z and gave me 22 then 43 peaking at 55
We initially went QRT at 0848z but after getting a 2nd wind we went QRT at 0930z
The band really opened an hour later than expected this day.
0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694

Conditions and reports were good.
Amongst other interesting topics all reflected on the recent bad weather, Brian and Bob still to complete antenna repairs following recurrent weekend storms.
