0800z Tuesday January 21st EUR 20m net on 14,294 / 14,285
From Bill VK4ZD
Conditions really started around 0830z
Vernon G0EGW built from 55-56 and then 57 and gave me 54 building to 57.
He advised that he had received his ROAR pin along with an invite for him to accept the position of ROAR RIBI president.
Nick and I encouraged him with Nick asking whether we would need to address him as His Rotary Highness.
I suggested that Nick should get down on one knee but he advised he would not be able to get back up again.

Freddy ZL2FAD (visitor) was 56-7 and gave me 59 at 0843z. He successfully worked both Vernon and Miika
Nick G4HCK was initially 11-22 but built to 44 then 54-5 and gave me 41-51
Miika OH2BAD (lovely surprise) called in on the SP with a 55-6 signal and gave me 58; we signed at 0940z exchanging 59 reports
We went QRT at 0940z
