From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
Dear Friends,
It was a hard job this Sunday !! but we hold on the rope!
On 20m, between 7h30 / 8h00 local time, NOTHING ! the band was dead.
With the Peanut, it was much better. We close at 8h35 local time.
On 40m (7105 KHz), except the disturbance of a Spanish station completely deaf ( but powerful), we meet with Verrnon and F4FCW, (Jacques LEPAGE), fighting against a very high QSB.
Jacques announced he is raising a new antenna ( 2 éléments on 40m ).
He thinks he will have a better signal with Vernon. Anyway, they have QSO (51 both way).
Later, on the 3694 MHz frequency I receive some weak signals from Brian and Nick participating to the
Sunday UK meeting. F4CFW do so.
Since some Sunday a french station located 2 KHz lower destroys any chance to join the UK net meeting ( I Think it's the same for Malcolm PA3AHC). QUESTION : Are you disturbed by that French station too ? On any Sunday, he is always discussing all along on that frequency. We can perhaps react against....and ask him kindly to move...
That Sunday, we heard far away in the background VK4ZD and perhaps VK2MCB.
As already said to someone, we try to rise on the waves F1BFL ( Serge COUSIN), a station from the Northern part of France who has some problem with the antennas. He is in a protected area and can't raise any antenna as visible. I suggested to use the cradle of the house. What do you think about ?

Vernon advised on the Digital gateway that he had 50mph winds and would not be present at 2115z.
At 2115z he confirmed that and after wards I was called by Phil N8HWO and we had a short chat.
