Malcolm joined briefly at the start of the net, was good copy, and would be looking again for some afternoon 20m activity. We were also joined by Robert, GW6GBY for the first time. Conditions were good although continental splatter did not help. Brian reported on no DX success with the earlier 20m net. An enjoyable net, reflecting on Christmas Covid restrictions and hopefully better things in 2021. Festive greetings to all from ROAR in RGBI.

In the warm-up session in addition to Ed's health a wide ranging discussion of the Americas Cup wisk(e)y production and consumption (both commercial and personal)

Following the comments on Rotary club activities and amateur radio engagement and band openings there was a varied and informative discussion on digital modes of communication.
Joe AF1E demonstrated some of his equipment using other stations' radios and antennae to communicate. Engo KK6EWG explained his Geochron clock and world time program and Dev (y4DG showed his fully automated station.
