Hello Bill,
This is to confirm our QSO 56/56 today.
It was difficult with the LZ9W contest station 2 KHZ lower in frequency.
Anyway, it was nice.
Thanks a lot Bill

Hello Jean-Pierre.
It was wonderful to hear you on 20m yesterday.
I was using the new Quad antenna at 19m high (attached to Diane's IC-7300).
The antenna was previously VK2MCB's. It is working well.
I could hear you 44 at first and later 55.
I heard you give me 56 report and later 57.

Yes Bill,
But the frequency is more and more used by a lot of peoples.
We could have an alternate frequency and use both. What do you think about ?
OK Jean-Pierre
We will discuss an alternative 2nd backup frequency.

Nothing heard today
Even though it is still mostly tough going there are times when the bands are generous.
This is my log from Wednesday October 30:

From Doug ZL1BFS
I regret that I cannot attend ANZO net today - I need to attend my Brother’s 50th Birthday Party.
This is a shame, because I was listening around the bands last night (having just restored my HF Beam after storm damage, and there was a lot of activity on 20m.
Oh! What may have been possible!
Douglas ZL1BFS
From Phil VK2MCB
Couldn’t participate at all this weekend as we moved into our new accommodation on Saturday and subsequent days.
Apologies for not including contributions from Douglas ZL1BFS and Jean-Pierre F1CFA who sent emails on Sunday/Monday but I have changed laptops and the emails are on my old one which I cannot access at the moment.
