I did listen on Peanut today. I was late on parade so just listened. I then moved to 20m and well what can I say !!!! The band did not wish to come out to play today so at 08.20 (BST) I gave up.
Providing I get a few minutes on Tuesday (the grandchildren are staying with us ) I will have quick monitor of 20m.
The Solar activity has been high recently and radio communication disruption forecast.
But never mind hopefully it will be OK next time (can live in hope !!)

From Jean-Pierre F1CFA
Dear friends,
Before the meeting time, on 14295,2 I got you perfectly well : Bill, the winner with a 54 signal and you Phil, with a poor 52 signal. But you discussed together and I had no chance with the QSB ....:-)....:-))
Suddenly appeared Malcolm with a 55 signal oscillating 31 due to the QSB. We have just opportunity to speak, about the Hamburg convention then the gate closed.
He can't explain me how to join the ROAR Hamburg meeting point.
About the gate Bill, have you any news from Pertti ???
Then I heard you both on 7105 and later on 14295,2 but you don't remain a long time on that frequency and ypur signals were a bit weak....An Italian station appeared, End of the story !!!

From Bill VK4ZD in reference to Pertti
Dear Jean-Pierre
I am very pleased that you could hear our signals in your QTH.
We could hear nothing here in our noise :(
Please look at the Communicator to see the information about the AGM meeting in Hamburg.
Also you can see the booth number in the House Of Friendship.
Yes, Pertti was in hospital before but now he is in an old persons home making his health recovery.
The mobile phone service is very poor at his location.

From Malcolm PA3AHC in an email to Jean-Pierre
Yes , could also hear those VK voices in the noise for just a little while .
About Pertti , I’m SMS/texting him – apparently in hospital said Bill to Peter – although so far after three tries all I got was “ Malcolm who ? “…( TBC )
And it was good for the first time in ages to exchange a few words with Jean-Pierre .
73’s , Malcolm
