From Douglas ZL1BFS
On Tuesday 26 March, I had a competing net at 0730 to 0800, so I was able to get onto the 14295.2 net at 0800 I was beaming short path to Europe, Bill VK4ZD was 59, and Phil VK2MCB was 56. and we had a three way conversation for several minutes, Then suddenly at 0804 there was Nick G4HCK and we exchanged 52. Four minutes later at 0812, Vernon bounced in at a solid 5 8/9 We later tried long path, and Vernon dropped to 52, so we went back to Short Path, and back to 59 signals Nick continued to be 52, but at 0827 I heard another voice, and there was Malcolm PA3AHC - only 42, but he was there!
We believe Jean-Pierre F1CFA but also there, but received only the occasional almost indistinguishable words

All in all a must surprising but enjoyable net, in which I learned that Vernon now has a 1934 Morris 12.
