At last something to write about! My 40m dipole is up, almost to final height and I heard ZL1BFS 45 to start. Bill was 55 and both of them were increasing in strength to 55 resp. 56 at the time to qsy 20m. Phil and Peter were audible but not readable, so 21 to both. Also growing in S - units towards the end.
VK/ZL on 20m was quiet, like we say in OH: it is like felt shoe factory in summer holiday time. But Nick and Malcolm were there. Both sigs started with low/qsb but were improving and Malcolm was actually a solid 59 at the end. I kept calling after boys qsy˙d to kitchen but no respond. Better luck next time.
