From John G3OKT
The QSL website gave SFI 68 A 9 K 4 and sunspots zero for the 6th day!
This net looked to coincide exactly with the UK 80m net!
G3OKT called CQ 20m at 0800z and again at 0806z but I had no response to either.
No sign in fact of any 20m ROAR stations, but the Band was very busy with the WPX Contest (WPX according to G3LUW, who incidentally later said “there was no ROAR 20m Net today”)
Note from Phil VK2MCB: The 20m net was on at 0800Z but propagation to the UK was impossible for at this time. This led us to decide to trial the 20m net on Tuesday at 0730Z.
Also, with the switch of Daylight Saving time in the UK, this caused a clash with the 80m net on Sunday as John’s report indicates below.

0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From John G3OKT
This net is European and is always 0900-1000 local time (which from today is on BST).
G3OKT joined the net at 0810z, from listening on 20m
G3LUW Brian (Net Control) was 5.9+20dB here.
G3JJR John was 5.9+10dB; was 5.7/8 with PA3AHC; gave G7OAI/P 5.7.
PA3AHC was best copy ever with G3JJR; Malcolm was 5.7 with G3LUW, 5.7 down to 5.5 in QSB with G3OKT
G3OKT was 5.9 with G3LUW; 5.9+60dB with G7OAI
G7OAI/P was 5.9+10dB here; gave 5.7 for PA3AHC
G4LXD was 5.9+10dB here; Bill gave 5.9 to all including Malcolm!
G0SQH Derek was 5.9 here
G2FUU Tommy came in at 0825z; was 5.9+20dB with G7OAI/P
G3OKT outlined arrangements for the RIBI ROAR AGM on 12th May.
The net was closed by Brian at 0903z

1700z – 1730z RIBI evening 80-metre Net on 3,694 MHz
Both Brian G3LUW and Tommy G2FUU said they would listen on 80m at 6pm this evening.
2100z-2200z Transcontinental net on 7.185
No Report Received

0800z – 0830z Tuesday 12th December 2017 NZ 80-m net on 3,693
0800z - 0830z Tuesday 27th March 2018 EUR 20m net on 14,295.2
0730z-0800z Next Week
We trialled starting this net at 0730Z and it seemed to give better conditions long path to Europe. Sorry if the word did not get through to all. Bill VK4ZD had the best result. Based on this result we will bring the 20m ANZO net forward 30 minutes to begin at 0730Z on both Sunday and Tuesday.
From Bill VK4ZD
Phil VK2MCG was 44 and gave me 52-3
Vernon G0EGW was 22 then 55-6 and gave me 55-6
Nick G4HCK was 44 and gave me 54

Bill VK4ZD was 52 and gave me 43
Klaus HB9CQS was 55 and gave me 55
Jean Pierre F1CFA was 42 and gave me 42

From John G3OKT
The QSL website today gave SFI 68 A 3 K 1 and sunspots zero for 6 days!
HB9CQS was just recognised under the noise at 0705z. I called Klaus but heard no reply.
G3OKT heard nothing else so went QRT at 0710z;
G3OKT listened again at 0835z. Heard the usual “interfering Italian” at 5.7 on 14.297.
No sign of the Tazigstan harmonic on 14.293
Heard a CQ from IC8FFP on 14.2949 at 0837z
