From Nick G4HCK
Well the weather was great wall to wall sunshine 8C but the signals on 20m did not match the weather. I could hear Klaus and then there were other voices coming from down under but who was that I asked myself.
The SFI was not in our favour and an adjacent station was really causing major problems spreading all over the place.
O well let’s hope the next net will be better.

0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From John G7OAI/P
My report for the 80m Sunday net for 18/02/18:-
I opened the net at 0902Z, following several CQ calls, when John, G3JJR responded. Malcolm called in next, PA3AHC, for a couple of overs. Bob, G3SZF and Tommy, G2FUU soon joined us. Derek, G0SQH called in at 0912Z, and Bill, G4LXD at 0930Z.
Topics were varied and interesting, featuring a special car being developed by Derek for a science project at a local school, and the misuse of antibiotics, amongst others. Signal reports from my perch on the Pennines were:-
G3JJR, 59+10
PA3AHC, 56
G3SZF, 59+10
G2FUU, 59+20
G0SQH, 59+10
G4LXD, 59+20
I had some splatter from a station on 3692 early on, (but no one else commented) and some QSB towards the end.
I closed the net at 0947Z.
