Peter VK3KCD was absent and could not join.

From John G3OKT
Coco YO9BC was heard at 0618z in contact with Nick G4HCK; Band conditions were poor here with heavy QSB. Coco was initially 5.7 but disappeared after 10 minutes and was not heard again. Nick was 4.5 to 1.1 here in QSB
Klaus HB9CQS was steady like a 5.8 broadcast station. He gave G3OKT 5.8 to 3.6/7 with deep QSB. Klaus said he had been working VK4ZD at 2200z last Sunday at 5.7/8; VK2MCB had been 5.3.
G0EGW Vernon was just a whisper today, even when band noise was very quiet
PA3AHC was on frequency but I had no copy of Malcolm here!
F1CFA was called by Klaus. I recognised Jean Pierre at 1.1 but he was hard to copy. We exchanged e-mails afterwards.
Klaus was called by AB9CBS on the Isle of Wight but I had no record of this call
Klaus closed the net at 0702z

From Klaus HB9CQS
Good morning Phil
First CQ at 06:02z. First station in log: Nick abt. 06:30z. RS 22 here. Got 52.For inter-European contacts the net appears to be starting too early. Switched beam towards east and worked Coco. 59, preamp 1. Got 59.  Back to VK/ZL LP (255 degr.) I worked Nick again but never R5. Malcolm was there and worked Nick but unfortunately skipped out here. QRT at 06:55z.Our anchor, Pertti, was not taking part this Sunday morning. I hope that Pertti and also his village are doing fine.Bill and I will give it a try again this Sunday evening at 22:00z. Hope that you and Vernon will be there too. 73 – Klaus, HB9CQS

From Phil VK2MCB
Great conditions for a very welcome change

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From John G3OKT
John G3OKT was net control. Band conditions were unusually poor! John G7OAI had S9+ noise and had intermittent copy of me.
Tommy G2FUU was 5.9 here (usually 5.9+) and gave me 5.8. He reported that all his family were well.
John G3JJR was also 5.8 here; heard at 5.7/8 by John G7OAI who was listening on the Hack Green SDR
Brian G3LUW was only 5.7 here - usually 20dB over S9!!
Bill G4LXD was 5.9/QSB with G3JJR; Bill was 5.8/7 here; He reported that he no longer had to run his Rotary Club website.
Bruce G0PCF was 5.7 here and subject to heavy band noise. He reported having had a fall on the stairs at home. We all wished him well! John G3JJR had no copy of Bruce in conditions which were worsening!. John had solid copy of G3SZF.
Bob S3SZF reported that his Rotary Club was involved in their village development plan re "dementia friendliness". John G3OKT reported by coincidence, his Club had also had a presentation on dementia friendliness at the recent meeting!
G7OAI John had volunteered to research location of the next ROAR/RIBI AGM in May 2019. Choice was Harrogate, York or Scarborough. Initial response seemed to favour York, particularly for its YORVIK museum and "smellivision"! John JJR preferred York to Harrogate
Tommy volunteered to listen on the ROAR frequency at 6pm local time for any callers.
G3OKT also promised to listen for VK/ZL on the 2200z retimed net. He was also involved in organising a lecture for his Rotary Club on The Dark Web.
Both G2FUU and G3OKT reported that their 20m quad antennae were suffering from damage!
Bob G3SZF will be Net Control next Sunday
