Trial net times next week 30" later
0630z - 0700z Anzo Net on 7,110

Doug ZL2BFS was 59 peaking 59+15 and gave me 58-9

Phil VK2MCB was 57-9 and gave me 58-9

From John G3OKT
I just heard HB9CQS say "Good morning Doug" at 0633z.
ZL1BFS then gave Klaus 5.9 in exchange for 5.5-6. No sign of Doug here.
Otherwise 40m was just an "S9+ jungle" WWContest of QRM.
I QSY'd to 20m at 0645z.
From Klaus HB9CQS re 3 nets:-
Sunday, 40M: Besides Doug I managed to exchange reports with Bill, VK4ZD, 56 b/w at 06:42z.
Tuesday, 40M: Called and listened on 7’110 from 06:38z onwards. No ROAR activity. My mistake?
Tuesday, 20M: At 07:02z I worked Peter, VK3KCD. 53-54. Got 48. Peter is still hampered by heavy noise.
Worked Phil, VK2MCB at 07:05z, 56-57. Got 59. Signals faded later.
Worked Bill, VK4ZD, at 07:05z, 56 b/w. Signals faded somewhat but came back again. Clearly two peak propagation.
At 07:21z Pertti, EA7GSU was 59+10. Got 59.
At 7:40z Vernon, G0EGW, was 56-57. Got 58
QRT at 07:47z.

G2FUU Tommy had said earlier on 80m that he would look on this net for any callers
2230z - 2300z Informal Transcontinental net on 7.118 +/- QRM
From Ed N4EDT
Very Interesting net. The World Wide DX contest jammed both the 7 and 20 meter bands to the point we were not able to find an open frequency for the net. The checkins show were those that logged into Communications were achieved by messaging thru NetLogger. We knew that ROAR members were there even though we could not communicate using HF. We will attempt to open D-Star prior to the end of the year.

Klaus had experienced excellent condx on a daily basis at later times and suggested that we give the net a try 30 minutes later.
