From Bill VK4ZD
Peter VK3KCD was 56-8 and gave me 56-9

0600z- 0700z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,292 Long Path
From Bill VK4ZD
Phil VK2MCB was 43-56
Peter VK3KCD was not heard
Doug ZL1BFS was 57-8. Miika OH2BAD was heard briefly on the short path at 53
Nothing heard after 0625z. No other stations were heard

From John G3OKT
At 0305z, QSL gave SFI 74 A 8 K 2 and sunspots 28 (rising).
Conditions very variable, not good for DX
OH2BAD said the QRM was bad from the “King of Spain” contest. At 0610z, Miika was booming in here at 5.9+10dB, and gave me 5.9.
G4HCK was QSB 5.2 to zero here, but went from 5.9 to 5.7 with Miika, and then to 2.1 as I also dropped to 3.2.
HB9CQS was 5.5 with Miika and 5.4 here; Klaus could initially hear my voice but had no copy, mainly through rain static.
PA3AHC gave Miika 5.9 and got 5.7 but Malcolm was barely detectable here.
HB9CQS said Miika had dropped from 5.7 to 4.3.
EA7GSU gave HB9CQS 5.9 and OH2BAD 5.8, but had no copy of Malcolm. Pertti was 5.7 with OH2BAD and had “gruff"/ie poor quality through testing an IC7300 rig.
Pertti returned to his original rig – audio much better and got 5.7/8 from Klaus.
G4HCK gave HB9CQS 5.4. Nick had strange QSB both here and with Pertti - initially strong and Q5 then weak and on the edge of noise.
EA7GSU listened for VKs at 0643 but nothing was heard. At 0645, Pertti gave G4HCK 5.4, G3OKT 5.7 and HB9CQS 5.9. At 0640 Klaus said I was 5.9 most of the time, but down to 5.7 occasionally.
I left the net at 0650z.

0600z - 0700z Tuesday 27th June 2017 EUR net on 14,295.2
From Bill VK4ZD
Phil VK2MCB was 55
Pertti EA7GSU was heard faintly talking with Malcolm PA3AHC
Propagation appears to have ceased after 0530z

From John G3OKT
QSL at 0305z gave SFI 74 A 7 K 2 and sunspots 19 (falling slowly)
G3OKT had no response to a CQ at 0600z pointing LP VK/NZ
EA7GSU appeared at 5.3, gave me 5.7 then dropped away suddenly to 4.1.
PA3AHC was heard by Pertti but no sign of Malcolm here until 0623 and then only at 3.1. Malcolm gave me 5.7 then (?) and later 4.2
G4HCK got 5.9 from Pertti and heard G3OKT at 5.3
EA7GSU was back at 5.7 at 0617z and gave me 5.5. Pertti called CQ ZL/VK at 0618 and again at 0627z, but received no response. Gave Malcolm 5.5/7.
F1CFA called in at 5.8 at 0630z; Jean Pierre also got 5.8 from G4HCK, gave me Nick and 5.6 and gave Pertti 5.6-9. Pertti said propagation was strange but gave Jean Pierre 5.9+10dB.
I left the net at 0640z when Nick was 4.1 and giving Jean Pierre 5.9. I heard Jean Pierre at 5.7
Pertti thought he would test 20m short path to VK/NZ this evening at 2100z.

2100z Repeat of last Tuesday’s Short Path to VK net?
From Bill VK4ZD
Phil and I checked for any stations at 2100z on Tuesday but no ROAR members were heard.
OZ1AA was heard on 14.295 working into South America. A 59 PY was heard further down the band on the long path (across Europe)

From John G3OKT
I listened late at 2110z for a while but heard no ROAR stations.

From Pertti E A7GSU
I have been scanning the qrg from 2100z onwards on Sunday and Monday. Mainly calling on CW 10 - 15 min intervals until next full hour but nothing has come back. Maybe the skip wasn˙t mine yet. But as the first test was successful to some extent, maybe we try until we have the second hit!

From Doug ZL1BFS (to Pertti)
Pertti, A friend of mine who lives just 2km up the road, has had success working EC7WR on 40m at 5;19 UT
Perhaps we should try 40m rather than 20m on Sundays?
I listened and called on 14293 (because there was a station on 14295) from 1900 to 1930 today, but heard no Europeans.

That’s all for now!
