Pertti EA7GSU was initially 11 building to 44 and gave me 51 peaking at 57
Rob ZL1RD was 59 and got 58-9 reports from Europe when running 200 watts.
Vernon G0EGW was 44 building to 55-6 and gave me 57 late in the sched

VK4ZD and VK2MCB were in the noise here. I had no copy of Phil nor (later) Noel VK2IWT.
VK3KCD was 4.4 with Brian who gave Peter 2.1
HB9CQS was peaking 5.5 here at 0835. Klaus gave Les PA0SDZ “very weak” 5.2
VK4ZD was also 5.2 with Klaus who got 5.4/5 from Bill. Bill was hard to copy here.
G3OKT was only S1 with Klaus at 0840
EA7GSU and HB9CQS exchanged 5.9 b/w. Pertti was 5.7 here; gave G3OKT 5.8/9. Pertti said VK opened for him about 8 o’clock but there was practically zero propagation at 0847.
G3LUW was then 5.5 here; Brian exchanged 5.6 b/w with VK4ZD and got 5.4 from Klaus.
ZL1RD called Pertti; Rob was 5.9 with Klaus and gave Klaus 5.8/9. Rob gave Pertti 5.7/8 and got 5.8.
VK4ZD was not 100% (5.1) with Pertti who got 4.4 from Bill. Bill was 5.5 here.
G3OKT was 4-5.1-2 with ZL1RD.
G0EGW heard ZL1RD at 5.8/9 at 0900; Vernon got 5.3
ZL1RD gave PA0SDZ 5.7/8 at 0901; Rob was 5.7/8 with HB9CQS at 0902; Rob gave G0EGW 5.9 at 0903 in exchange for 5.8/9.
EA7GSU gave VK4ZD 5.5/7 at 0907 and got 5.5.
20m was clearly open at 0906 but seemed to collapse at 0910. I also suffered much contest QRM and went QRT at 0910.
VK4ZD said he would be VI100TRF celebrating 100 years of Rotary Foundation on February 26th.

G7OAI John was 5.8/9 QSB at home. He was 5.5/9 QSB with Brian.
G0SQH was 5.9 here and with G3LUW. Derek said I was 5.9 via Hack Green SDR.
G3OKT and Bill G4LXD exchanged 5.9+10dB.
G0PCF was 5.9 here. Bruce confirmed that he had booked for the AGM in May.
G2FUU was 5.9 with G4LXD; Tommy was 5.9+10 here and +20dB with Brian.
G3JJR was 5.8 with G4LXD; 5.9+10 here; John said Bruce was a good readable signal.
PA3AHC was only just hearable at 4.4 with G3LUW; 4.7 with G4LXD, & 4.7 with G2FUU.
G3SZF was 5.8 here with QSB to 5.9. Bob had noise level of S8 and had difficulty with JJR and OAI
G0EGW was 5.5 b/w with G3LUW; gave G4LXD 5.9 and Bruce 4.4 and Derek 5.7 and OKT 5.9. Vernon was 5.9+10dB here.
G3LUW said that he and G2FUU would be on 80m at 1800.
Brian closed the net at 0956.

1800z – 1830z RIBI evening 80-metre Net on 3,694 MHz
1900z – 2000z N.AM Transcontinental Net on 14,287, 7205

I was unable to be present as Diane and I were celebrating our 41st Wedding Anniversary.

Brief report as I had hand surgery yesterday and am in plaster for a week. Tough being a one=handed touch typist! Also a bit sore.
Not too good today. While I heard quite a few of you, only Douglas ZL1BFS gave me a report at 56-7.
Peter VK3KCD was 31, Douglas ZL1BFS 57, Klaus HB9CQS 41, Brian G3LUW 31, and John G3OKT was just readable at 21. I could imagine Pertti was there at 11.

The QSL site gave at 0610z : SFI 77 A 6 K 3 sunspots 35 (rising)
G3LUW was 5.9 b/w with EA7GSU at 0829; Brian gave G3OKT 4.2. and was peaking 4.5 here.
HB9CQS got 5.5 from Brian in exchange for 5.4/5. Klaus was peaking 5.3 here.
EA7GSU gave Klaus 4.1 and got 5.4. Pertti and G3OKT were 5.7 b/w, later pkg 5.8/9.
ZL1BFS was 5.4 with G3LUW and gave Brian 3.3. Doug gave Klaus 3.3 and got 5.2. Doug was initially only 4.1 here with QSB – later only 2.1 and difficult to copy.
VK2MCB Phil could just be heard both here and with Pertti; Phil gave Brian 3.1.
PA3AHC was only just recognizable here at 1.1. Malcolm got 5.8 from EA7GSU and 2.2 from Klaus
ZL1BFS came up to 5.3-4 with HB9CQS at 0852; Klaus got 5.5 from Doug, but was still only 3.1 here,
G0EGW and G3OKT exchanged 5.3 b/w; Vernon was 5.9+10dB with EA7GSU.
G3LUW was still 5.4 as I went QRT at 0902.
Conditions not good; Woodpecker was only S7 at 0853 (normally 20dB over S(9)
