EA7GSU Pertti said VK4ZD was on frequency. Pertti heard Bill 3.1 with rapid QSB

VK4ZD, VK2MCB and

The net closed at 0652.
From Nick G4HCK
Despite having a newly painted office, new carpet etc. the band was not kind to
us today. I was rather hoping it was a magic carpet that I had in the office and
we would be able to hear each other with ease. However the propagation was 87
but the K factor was 5 with lots of QSB. Still the sun is shining and the birds
are singing so it’s not all bad.

G0EOB/M a visitor in
North Devon called in. Fred was 5.9+20dB with G7OAI/P and could copy all

only station that was not checked in both nets, being active only on the 14.288
segment. conditions were mixed on both bands. Again, the Net Logger program,
roarnetlogger.net made us aware of a number of station before they were heard on

I went QRT at 0640z
From Klaus HB9CQS
Started listening and calling shortly after 06:00z but no stations were heard.
It didn’t surpise me because the K-value was 6. First indication of any life on
the net was about 06:25z when the VKs started coming in. At 06:28z I was able to
work Phil, VK2MCB. He was 52 here and gave me 53-55. Bill, VK4ZD, became
readable shortly afterwards, 52 here. Bill gave me 54. These reports were still
valid when we closed down at 06:42z. We discussed the net starting time and
agreed that a reschedule was called for.
From Malcolm PA3AHC
As they say, there’s a
first time for everything , and on Tuesday I fell into a deep hole on 20m and
heard zilch for once . (There was some activity heard on 40m though when I had
plenty of time to look elsewhere .)
UK 80m net on Sunday was all noise from
this end , hence no QSO’s there either
From Pertti EA7GSU
I was there and called
EU direction as well as ANZO on A3 and A1 until 0625 utc, but I heard nothing
from anybody. Such a black - out I haven˙t experienced before although some
mornings have been bad as well.
From John G3OKT
Sorry I had to miss this
net but QSL site at 0310 did earlier forecast conditions as SFI 87
A 10 K 8
sunspots 43 (rising)
That’s all for now!
