Following reports : first “heard by me” / second “the report I
got”
YO9BC - 55/56
VK4ZD 59/59
VK3KCD 53/53
HB9CQS 42/22
Just
heard : PA3AHC and F4GHB...perhaps EA7GSU
Important remark : These reports
are correct for just a quarter of an
hour...Then VK4ZD / VK3KCD shut down
totally...and the European stations
appeared poorly.
On Monday, 19th
September ; 09 afternoon : A fantastic propagation must be mentioned with a lot
of American stations and even New Zealander, Australian stations....
Notice :
Just for the fun : If a station is for example 3 by 2 on my
delta loop, the
report is 4 by 2 with my Skywire antenna. But I can't
transmit with my
Skywire as I am losing power !!!

From John ZL2JPM
I came on
this frequency at about 0620z and worked Bill (VK4ZD) until the net started.
Bill was 57 and reported me at 54. Peter (VK3KCD) was heard briefly at 0630z (33
both ways). Propagation was lost at about 0635 as the QRM increased.
Unfortunately I heard nothing else beyond VK.
From Bill VK4ZD
My radio had glitched and
the received signals were about 2 S points
lower than normal; accordingly I
have adjusted my reports up by 2 S points
John ZL2JPM called in early and was
54-5 (56-7) and gave me 57
Peter VK3KCD was 56 (58) and gave me 59
Pertti
EA7GSU was 22-33 (44-55) here
Jean-Pierre F1CFA was 33 (55)
Coco YO9BC was
44 (56) and gave me 57
Klaus HB9CQS was 55 (57) and gave me 57-8
From John G3OKT
QSL figures for 0605z were SFI 83 A 10 K 4 sunspots 56 (rising)
EA7GSU was
just heard using CW at 0638z. I then heard Pertti on SSB giving VK3KCD 5.5-7;
Pertti was initially 5.3 here, but later (at 0646z) exchanged 5.7 b/w with
G3OKT.
VK3KCD and VK4ZD were both heard by Pertti, but no trace here.
YO9BC was 3.3 here initially, then peaked 5.6 talking to VK3KCD at 0640z.
HB9CQS was only 2.1 at 0635 working both Bill VK4ZD (who was not heard here) and
Peter VK3KCD. Klaus gave Jean Pierre 3.3 at 0647z. Klaus was then 3.2 here and
gave me 4.3. Klaus and Pertti exchanged 5.9+10dB b/w.
F1CFA was 5.9+20dB with
Y09BC at 0643; Jean Pierre was hardly heard by Pertti and only 1.1 here..
Pertti said the VKs disappeared at 0647z
PA3AHC was just recognizable here at
0651; Malcolm got 5.8/9 from Pertti, later 5.9+10dB; EA7GSU heard G3OKT at 5.8
at 0658z as I went QRT..
From Malcolm PA3AHC
For what it’s worth, I
made a marginal QSO with VK3KCD, just above the noise. (Must be Peter’s new loop
antenna? )
Again to note, I am now - after many months – picking up Radio
Australia’s Asian broadcasts in my pm on 12,075 . Hopefully not just one swallow
before the Aussie summer.
From Jean Pierre F1CFA
Heard by me / second
: The report I got
ZL2JPM - 51/---
VK4ZD - 51/---
VK3KCD - 33/43
HB9CQS - 43/43
YO9BC - 59+/59+
Just heard : EA7GSU / PA3AHC / G3OKT
The
situation was the same as Sunday : 6h25 : Bill and Peter discussed,
heard
clearly as for ZL2JPM... a quarter later they were just down...
From these
observations I suggest :
1) - To modify the hour of Sunday to 6h00 UTC ( on
control of Bill )
2) - To modify the hour of Tuesday to 7h00 UTC ( European
net with HB9CQS as a manager)
That’s all
for now,
73s from John G3OKT
