Only three of us on the net, myself, Bill VK4ZD and Noel VK2IWT Noel VK2IWT was 59+ and gave me 59 Bill VK4ZD was 59 and gave me 59 0800z - 0900z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,295.2 Long Path SFI 105 A 3 K 2 sunspots 30 ; Heavy contest interference in Europe. Miika gave 5.7 for both G3LUW and YO9BC HB9CQS was only 5.4 QSB here initially but was 5.9+20dB with Miika; Klaus came up to 5.9+10dB here at 0855z when he was also 5.8 with Bill VK4ZD. HB9CQS gave 5.4 for both ZL1BFS and G3LUW, 4.3 for G4HCK, 5.3 for F1CFA, 5.7 for VK4ZD and found Coco difficult at 4.3. G4HCK was 5.4 here when free of contest interference; Nick got 5.8 from EA7GSU. F1CFA got 5.6 from OH2BAD (and later 5.9 down to 5.3 in QRM). No trace of Jean Pierre here. ZL1BFS was 5.3 here when in the clear, and 5.5 with Miika; Doug gave Miika 5.4; exchanged 5.5 b/w with G3LUW and got 5.4 from EA7GSU. Doug later came up to 5.6 here at 0847 and gave Malcolm 4.2. Doug was 5.4 with Pertti. VK4ZD just touching S1 here (no copy) at 0815; Bill was 5.7 with Pertti. By 0830, Bill was copying all British stations at 4.4 and came up to 2.3 here. EA7GSU was 5.8 here; gave G3LUW 5.9 and PA3AHC 5.8; gave only 1.1 for F1CFA (no copy) PA3AHC faintly heard here at 2.1 at 0900; was 5.9+15dB with OH2BAD! VK2MCB was 5.3 with OH2BAD; Phil got 4.4 to 5.5 from Klaus. Phil was only 2.1 here at 0858; was 5.7 with OH2BAD VK2IWT Noel and VK3KCD Peter were not copied here. Noel was 3.2 with HB9CQS CT1BJZ Vitor was 5.9 with OH2BAD, HB9CQS and G3OKT; was 3.3 with VK4ZD at 0852 (Bill came up to 5.5 here at 0852); Vitor gave PA3AHC 5.6, G3LUW 5.9+10dB and G3OKT 5.9. All remembered and appreciated Vitor’s superb hospitality at the Lisbon Convention; best wishes were offered for Vitor’s wife who suffers poor health. G4HCK Nick gave Viktor 5.9 and Pertti 5.8/9. VK4ZD was peaking S9 with Miika at 0854. 0900z -1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694 From John G3OKT G3LUW Brian was net control and was 5.9+20dB here. PA3AHC was 5.7 here, gave me 5.9 but was unreadable by G7OAI G7OAI was 5.9; heard G3LUW at 5.7 to 5.9+. Got 5.9 from G3LUW. G2FUU was just 5.9 (weaker than usual) but 5.9+10dB with G7OAI G3SZF was 5.9+5dB here. S8 to S9 with G7OAI and G3LUW; was 4.7 in noise with Malcolm PA3AHC. G0SQH was S8 to S9+20dB here in QSB! G0PCF Bruce and Susan had confirmed they will not attend the ROAR/RIBI AGM in May. G0SQH requested details of the AGM from G3LUW. G7OAI suggested a collective trip/visit together on the Saturday 14th May, day of the AGM, and a free visit day on Friday 13th . G3OKT will be net control next week, G7OAI on Feb 14th and G3LUW on 21st. G3LUW and G2FUU said they would listen for ROAR stations at the 1800z sked. The net closed at 0950. 1200z – 1300z TransAtlantic Net on 14,287/8 Sunday Trans-Atlantic net at 1500hrs utc on 14287kHz From John G3OKT I took a listen at 1500z on 14.310 and heard EA7GSU at 5.7; Pertti gave G3LUW 5.9+ Brian was 5.5 here. PA3AHC was 4.3 here; Pertti gave Malcolm 5.7 early in the net, down to 5.2 later. G3SZF gave Pertti 2.1; Pertti said Bob had QSB from S2 to 5.7.
