From Bill VK4ZD
The net started normally but was interrupted by the 3XY1T DXpedition starting up on 14.285 and listening 5-10 up.
We initially moved to 14.298 but the QRM then overlapped this frequency so we QSY'd to 14.305
before dropping to 14.304 to minimize interference to a station on 14.307

Malcolm PA3AHC was 55 and gave me 55-6
Noel VK2IWT was 44 and gave me 55
Peter VK3KCD was 57-8 and gave me 59
Klaus HB9CQS was 58-9 and gave me 59
Doug ZL1BFS was 57
Brian G3LUW was 55
Les PA0SDZ was 55
Pertti EA7GSU was 57 and gave me 59 and dropping in QSB

Phil VK2MCB was 55 and gave me 55
I went QRT at 0901z
From the log of Phil VK2MCB

Trying to dodge the QRM, the net moved to 14.305 at 0834 but I had serious German QRM from 143067.
The net then homed in on 14.304 at 0840 – EA7GSU was again 5.7 and gave VK2MCB 5.2 in exchange for 5.3 from Phil.
VK4ZD was 5.5 on 14.304 at 0842 before the pile up found us!

Tommy will be net control next week, Feb 28th; G7OAI on on March 6th and G3LUW on March 13th

From John G7OAI
Work has started on my property, which has necessitated the removal of my HF aerial system. It is unlikely that I'll be back on by Sunday this week, but WX permitting, should be back by the 6th of March, with an inverted 'L' for 80 & 40.
The hope is, being resonant on those bands, that the noise floor might be a bit lower.
The cobweb type for 20 will be done in the late spring, as the final assembly will need to be done on the flat roof, so a couple of days of dry calm weather will be required!
1200z – 1300z TransAtlantic Net on 14,287/8 and 1500utc Net on 14287kHz or 14310

My report of Trans-Atlantic net at 1500hrs utc on 14310kHz:
Firstly: I am not monitoring any other frequencies for NA. Maybe in the Summer when skip is reaching S and SW of US, I will start, but at the moment propagations are not there.
I called on full hour and got back Bob, G3SZF with 57 report. Continuing to shout there came also Malcolm, PA3AHC back with good 59. No other stations were enticed to catch the hook and we were chatting about half an hour till 1528hrs.
No stations heard from state-side. Next try on Sunday again.
