HB9CQS was heard at 0735; Klaus was 5.6 with VK4ZD. Bill was only 2.1 here.
ZL1BFS called EA7GSU at 0741. Pertti was not heard here until 0750 & then only 2.1.
OH2BAD was only 3.1 here at 0744, but 5.6 by 0745. Miika exchanged 5.5 b/w with Doug.
HB9CQS only 4.1 here; Klaus gave “Les” 5.4-6, gave VK2MCB 5.4; ZL1BFS 5.4; gave OH2BAD 5.5; gave VK3KCD 5.4 and got 5.5/7 from Peter. Peter was just heard here – but not copiable.
OH2BAD was suddenly 5.9 here at 0752 and was 5.5 with EA7GSU.
HL1ZIX – Derek, a visitor in Korea, exchanged 5.5 with OH2BAD
ZL1BFS was now heard here at 4.1. Doug gave F1CFA 2.2 at 0812.
G4HCK Nick was 5.9 with Miika at 0758.
F1CFA and VK4ZD just heard in the noise here at 0800. Jean Pierre 5.7 with Miika at 0812
EA7GSU 5.5 here by 0802; Pertti complaining of S9 QRN!
HB9CQS was up to 5.5 here by 0803; Klaus gave VK4ZD 5.5. Bill was still in the noise here.
OH2BAD suddenly came up to 5.9+20dB here at 0805!
PA3AHC Malcolm was just detectable in the noise at 0807
G3OKT was 4.3 with VK4ZD at 0809 but Bill was still in the noise. Bill appeared “wavy” 1.1 at 0815, was peaking S3 by 0843, and was up to 5.6 here by 0848. (5.7 with OH2BAD)
G0EGW was a hollow, unstable 5.1 here at 0813; Vernon gave G3OKT 5.8, gave ZL1BFS 5.7/8 and got 5.4
HB9CQS was 5.4 with QSB here at 0817; Klaus gave F1CFA 5.4, G0EGW 5.4/5, Derek 4.4 and EA7GSU 5.5.
OH2BAD was now 5.9+30dB at 0845 but Miika said Bill was fading.
VK2GWK Henk called PA3AHC at 0845. Henk was 5.7 with Malcolm and was the strongest VK here. No copy of Malcolm here. EA7GSU gave Henk 5.8 at 0829 and got 5.5.
ZL1BFS was 5.5/6 with HB9CQS at 0850; Doug gave Klaus 5.7; Doug was 4.2 with QSB here; EA7GSU Pertti gave Doug 5.4/5 and gave VK4ZD 5.6/7 at 0852.
Woodpecker appeared here at S9+20dB on 14.285 at 0853.
OH2BAD was still 5.9+25dB here at 0822; Miika gave Pertti 5.8 and Henk 5.7 at 0825.
HB9CQS was only 5.5 here at 0827; Klaus gave Henk S7/8 and got 5.7.
F1CFA heard VK2GWK at 4.4 and got 3.3 from Henk.
VK2GWK was 5.9 with G0EGW at 0832. Vernon got 5.7/8 from Henk.
G4HCK was 4.4 with VK4ZD. Nick gave Henk 5.7 and Bill 4.3
G3OKT was 4.4 with VK2GWK at 0840; Henk was 5.6/7. I was peaking 5.5 with Bill at 0842 as the net closed.
 
0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694

PA3AHC Malcolm was 5/3.7 here in QRM. G2FUU had no copy of Malcolm but G3SZF Bob heard Malcolm at up to 5.7 in QSB.
G7OAI/A was 5.9+10dB here and heard all at S8 or 9
G2FUU was just 5.9 here with QSB; got G3JJR rather weak, G3OKT 5.9+15dB and G3SZF 5.7/8
G3SZF said G3OKT had QSB down to 5.7. Bob just 5.9 here, again with QSB down.
G0EGW was 5.9 here; Vernon gave me 5.9 + peaking S9+20dB; heard Tommy at 5.7; John OAI at 5.8
G2JJR said QSB affected both Bob and Tommy. John was 5.9 here
G4LXD was 5.7/9 here in QSB. Bill said all stations were 5.9 except John JJR who was Q4/5 later.
We had a good discussion on Club activities, especially “Lend with Care’ and various water aid activities in the 3rd world. G0EGW and G4LXD had been at the same District meeting without realizing their common interest in radio (G3OKT to inform Bruce G0PCF of possible sale of 2 ROAR ties for identification!)
G7OAI John said he would be net control next Sunday.

Noisy band, no QRN, little activity.
G3OKT called CQ at 0734 – I think Les PA0SDZ came back at 1.1, poor copy. Les got 3.1 from VK2MCB via Pertti at 0757. Pertti was 3.1 with Les.
HB9CQS was just recognisable at 0736 ( 2.1?) Klaus was 5.1 at 0803, giving Phil 4.1.
VK4ZD was 5.4 with Klaus who was then 2/3.1 here with QSB right out.
EA7GSU was 5.5 at 0750 – gave Bill 5.1. Pertti came up to 5.9 b/w here at 0801.
PA3AHC, VK3KCD, F1CFA and VK2MCB were also in the net but not heard here;
VK2MCB got 5.3 from Pertti, who also gave VK4ZD 5.1. Klaus was 5.9+10dB with Pertti.
PA3AHC Malcolm was 5.8/9 with Pertti.
I left the net at 0804z.
