G0EGW was 5.9 with OH2BAD, exchanged 5.5 b/w in QSB with G3OKT, was 5.7/8 with EA7GSU, gave VK2MCB 5.6/7, gave HB9CQS 5.7, gave VK4ZD 5.7 in exchange for 5.6/7. Vernon had good b/w copy of G3LUW.

G7OAI* appeared at 3.1 at 0635z. John was 5.8/9 to 5.5 in QSB with EA7GSU; gave OH2BAD 5.9 in exchange for 5.8. G3LUW said later that he had no copy of John nor Nick.

VK4ZD fluttered up to 2.1 at 0645 but was then limited by serious QRM from 0700z as the net was closing. Miika gave both Phil and Bill 5.5. Bill heard Klaus at 5.8/9 at 0650z. Pertti heard Bill at 5.7/8.

John JJR had some difficulty with G0PCF and G0SQH.
John had found a control on his rig which improved the topiness of his audio.
Following Bob G3SFT’s e-mail about the 2017 AGM in Banbury, Bruce confirmed he and Susan would be going. Also Tommy said he hoped to get a family member to provide transport.
Tommy and Brian said they would listen on this frequency for any callers at 1700z.
G3LUW said he would be net controller next week and expected John G7OAI the week after. G3OKT would be absent on holiday the 11th and 18th September but would be net control on Sept 25th.

From John G3OKT
QSL Solar conditions at 0305z were SFI 88 A 6 K 3 sunspots 67 (increasing)
Very little activity on 20m, occasional QRN to S4.
I called every 5 minutes but heard no response.
G3LUW Brian called weakly at 0630, HB9CQS was just recognized at 1.1 in QSO with VK4ZD at 0735z.
Klaus gave VK2MCB 5.4 at 0636, but neither Phil nor Bill were heard here.
LZ1RJ a visitor called in at 0645z at 5.5 here and giving 5.2 for Phil, but was not heard.
EA7GSU said five words at 5.7 at 0656 and then disappeared.
VK2MCB called G4HCK at 0658z but was immediately lost as local S6 QRM started up.
I went QRT at 0702. Very disappointing.

From Malcolm PA3AHC
I was all ready to go Tuesday but heard nothing from nowhere !
And on Sunday, the ultimate frustration of hearing those now remotely familiar d/u voices + all Europeans at the outset , so beam up and linear tuned , but then a great lightning strike nearby , thus QRT asap ! It cleared up nicely just after the net finished , hi hi

From Jean Pierre F1CFA
Yes, yes, very disappointed by this Tuesday net.
Anyway I had a short contact with VK2MCB (we exchange 51 both sides at 6h35 )
I heard as usual HB9CQS, discussing with VK4ZD. VK4ZD was 51 for me at the best.
The problem with HB9CQS is that he can't copy me ( this is due to the local QRM he said ), but I can always copy him.
I suspected EA7GSU, G3LUW, G4HCK, F4GHB.
A LZ1 station was breaking in at 7,00. I was copying him 54...and the same for me
Until better times

That’s all for now,
