Bill VK4ZD called at 0630 on 14295 kh/s. We exchanged 5&6 and were joined by Peter VK3KCD and Phil VK2MCB who were both stronger than Bill. I was unable to hear any other station, but the Australians worked John ZL2JPM & Doug ZL1BFS. I had no copy from any European. Pertti, EA7GSU, Klaus HB9CQS, Les PA0SDZ, Malcolm PA3AHC and Nick G3HCK were all on the frequency. Bill closed the net at 0715. Bill was fading, but Peter and Phil were both strong signals.

From Pertti EA7GSU
Sunday, like Tuesday as well was funny propagation wise: I had bad/non existing copy of Eu - stations but fairly good from down under.
And we got through to NA again!

0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From Brian G3LUW
Tommy G2FUU was in control. John G7OAI/p, John G3JJR, Bill G4LXD were all good signals. Malcolm PA3AHC called in and was copied by most of us, but he was not very strong.
Derek G0SQH joined us towards the end. He was good copy here, but Tommy had trouble reading him.
Tommy closed the net at 0835z.

1200z – 1300z TransAtlantic Net on 14,287/8 or at 1500z on Sunday on 14287kHz or 14.310MHz
From Pertti EA7GSU
Sunday Atlantic net 24/04/16 at 1500 hrs utc on 14310 kHz
Having called a couple of times, Malcolm came back with 57 signal and gave the same. Continued call brought a visitor Alex, DG9NED and we also exchanged 57 bw. Malcolm had no copy because of short distance. A weak signal came from Ken, W8SOO with 42 but that improved to 57 when he got the heaters hot enough. I got 57 also. Malcolm was reading 50% of him but they were unsuccessful about QSO. We folded the net at 1538utc.

From Pertti EA7GSU
Propagations favoured the long distance leaving many Eu stations under the noise level. I changed reports with Peter VK3KCD 54/42, Phil VK2MCB 56/57 and Bill VK4ZD 58/56. The only strong Eu station was J - P F1CFA with 58 bw. All others: HB9CQS 41, PA0SDZ 41 =>51/55. Brian G3LUW was no copy. Meeting end was 0659utc.
Some of us then decided to try 40m and I exchanged reports with J-P F1CFA 57/?? and Les PA0SDZ 53/58. Audibility got weak towards the end of short qso’s and we switched off at 0716utc.

That’s all for now,
73s from Bill VK4ZD, Phil VK2MCB, Brian G3LUW and Pertti EA7GSU.
