Roar Nets September 27th - September 29th 2015

ROAR Nets Report for 27th and 29th September 2015

0600z-0630z ANZO Net on 7110
From John ZL2JPM
I was operating Maritime Mobile on Sunday and report very poor reception on both 7110 and 14.295.2 at my location in the Marlborough Sounds – (NW of Wellington). I heard HB9CQS (Klaus) at about 53 but the rest of the net was lost in the noise. I called in, but with very poor copy on VK4ZD (Bill) – no luck. The RTTY also negated the more promising solar index yesterday.
Ps we are now on daylight saving time. So our Sunday Europe Nets (1930hrs local) coincide with family gatherings that frequently occur on that day of the week.

From Bill VK4ZD
Peter VK3KCD was 57-8 and gave me 57
Brian VK2BX was 59+5 and gave me 59+
