Poor conditions here, noise low but so were signals – consistent with A=13? Also, strong QRM from a broadcaster and a warbling beacon on 14.2952.
HB9CQS was first to be heard, but weak here and no copy at 0735. Klaus was 4.4 by 0743 and 5.4/5 by 0817. Never came strong, but was 5.7 with VK3KCD at 0830 (Klaus gave Peter 5.4/5 and at 0815 gave Noel VK2IWT 5.7).
VK4ZD was the strongest signal throughout the net here – 5.6 at 0741, later 5.7/8; Bill received me peaking 5.6
ZL1RD was peaking 5.9 with Bill and with G3LUW; Rob gave Brian 5.2
EA7GSU Pertti was 5.5 with Bill, and was 5.6 here with QSB downwards. Pertti gave 4.1 for VK2IWT, 5.9 for ZL2JPM, 5.5 for VK3KCD, 5.8 for PA3AHC and 2.1 for HB9CQS; Pertti gave VK2MCB 5.8.
F4GHB poor copy here; gave VK2IWT 5.4 and G3LUW 4.6. Alain was peaking 5.8 with VK4ZD.
G3LUW difficult copy here (2.3/5 ?), gave VK4ZD 5.8 and got peaking 5.7. Brian said later that he had no copy of me.
F1CFA Jean Pierre not heard here.
VK3KCD Peter gave ZL1RD 5.4, was 4.3/4 in fast QSB here and gave me 4.3.
ZL2JPM John just heard but no copy – peaking S2?
VK2MCB only 2.2 here under QRM of loud key clicks, but Phil had heard me earlier at 5.7. Phil gave Pertti 5.4; and gave Bill 5.9 at 0812 and got 5.8.
VK2IWT and PA3AHC just a trace here – no copy of either.
ZL1RD was 5.5 here at 0812. Rob said European Stations were generally 5.7/8 apart from PA3AHC, and Australians were 5.7/9. Rob gave me 5.4.
EA7GSU gave VK4ZD 5.9 and got 5.7; Pertti was 5.6 here at 0824 and gave G3LUW 5.9 (4.1 earlier!) and G3OKT 5.8. Pertti gave VK4ZD up to 5.9.

The net closed at 0830.

0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From John G3OKT
G3LUW was net control; all signals seemed 10 – 20dB down on usual strength, perhaps because of my temporary repair and suspected mis-match of a damaged aerial after high winds. QSB on all signals.
G2FUU Tommy, G3JJR John and G0PCF Bruce all about 5.9+ here. Bruce was 4.8 with Tommy.
G7OAI John had been on 80m earlier, but could not attend the net.
PA3AHC called in but was only 5.5 with G3LUW; was 5.7 in and out of the noise with G2FUU. Malcolm was detectable here but no copy under pulsed S8 noise.
I left the net at 0922.
