From John G3OKT
From QRZ SFI 133 A 5 K 1 sunspots 129 (up)
A disappointing net with high QRN (S5-7), with QSB, and low signals - particularly VK and ZL. In spite of this, woodpecker came up once at an astonishing S9+20dB!
G3LUW was heard as a “hollow” but good copy 5.5. Brian gave VK2MCB 5.7 and got 5.5; gave EA7GSU 5.9, and was 5.5-7 with VK4ZD.
VK4ZD was only 3.3 here, dropping completely into the noise as the net ended. Bill was 5.7 with VK2MCB, gave ZL1BFS 5.9 and Alain F4GHB Q5.
VK2MCB was 5.6/7 here; Phil gave G4HCK and PA3AHC both 5.7, got 5.8 from Nick, and gave G3OKT 5.7.
EA7GSU was 5.7 here, gave G3LUW 5.8/9, ZL1BFS 5.6/8, was 5.9 b/w with HB9CQS, gave F1CFA 5.5, gave PA3AHC 5.9 and gave G3OKT 5.7.
G4HCK was 5.5 here. Nick gave G3LUW 5.1, EA7GSU 5.9, HB9CQS 5.3, VK4ZD 5.8 and got 5.5-7, and gave F1CFA 4.2.
F1CFA was just heard here but no copy. Jean Pierre was 5.6 with VK4ZD
ZL1BFS was just a trace here. Doug was 5.8 with VK4ZD.
HB9CQS gave VK4ZD and EA7GSU both 5.9. Klaus was 4.3 early on but at 0650 was 5.5.
F4GHB was only peaking 2.4 here; Alain gave Pertti 4.5 to 5.7; was peaking 5.9 with VK4ZD
PA3AHC was only 2.3 here, up to 4.3 by end of net; Malcolm gave VK2MCB 5.6, but Phil had dropped from 5.7 to 2.2 here under the QRN as the net ended.
G4HCK reported that G3OKT was 5.5 b/w. Both Nick and Brian also reported that they had heard the RI Convention station ZW110ROAR but not yet made contact.
The net closed at 0652z.
0800z - 0900z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From John G3OKT
G3LUW Brian was Net Controller. Usual S7 (broadband?) noise at constant S7, also deep QSB today. Brian had QSB between 5.9+5dB and 5.7 here! Brian also gave this same report for John G3JJR. John was 5.9+10dB here.
G7OAI/P John had QSB from 5.9 to 5.8.
G3SZF Bob was 5.8 here with QSB to 5.7. Bob found G7OAI/P difficult to copy.
G2FUU was 5.9 here with QSB down to 4.7 – the weakest I’ve ever heard Tommy! Tommy was solid 5.9 b/w with G3LUW.
G3OKT was 5.9+30dB with Brian when the net ended at 0850z.
1800z – 1830z RIBI evening 80-metre Net on 3,693
G3LUW had said this morning that he would listen on this frequency for any members.
2000z - 2030z N.AM Transcontinental Net on 14,287
0700z – 0730z Tuesday 9th June 2015 NZ 40-m net on 7117
0630z – 0700z Tuesday 9th June 2015 EUR net on 14,295.2

From Bill VK4ZD
I was late to this net due to my work load but there were no signals heard
From Pertti EA7GSU : “will not be in the air Tuesday, have an appointment in the morning. I plan to travel to Oporto on Thursday and try to be in the Portuguese air on Sunday”. Pertti had also said that he had worked ZW110ROAR. Klaus later said that he had not, neither had G3OKT.
From Brian G3LUW to VK4ZD - No propagation at all this morning - not surprising with the A-Index at 33. Miika, John, Klaus and I had a short chat. None of us have managed to work the Brazilian ROAR station See you Sunday.
From John G3OKT By mistake, I was on frequency 30 mins early today and found
G3LUW there already - we were 3.4 b/w at first, then Brian “fluttered” up to 5.6.
OH2BAD, G3LUW and G3OKT all exchanged 5.9 b/w; Miika got 5.7 from HB9CQS.
S51IS a visitor Igor in Lubliana, was 5.8 with Miika, 5.6 here with QSB down to 3.1, and gave Miika 5.5 to 5.9 QSB
HB9CQS was 5.7 here initially and gave G3OKT 5.5/6, but we exchanged 5.9 b/w later at 0620. G3LUW gave Klaus 5.9.
VK2MCB and G3OKT exchanged 5.5 b/w at 0625; Phil exchanged 5.9 b/w with HB9CQS, exchanged 5.5 b/w with G3LUW; gave OH2BAD 5.7 and got 5.6.
PA3AHC was just detectable here but no copy. Malcolm exchanged 3.2 b/w with VK2MCB and got 5.9 from OH2BAD.
The net closed at 0639.
Suggest this net should be retimed to start next Tuesday at 0600z?
Subsequently, from Klaus HB9CQS
I would prefer to start at 0600z but this is mainly because my Monday through Friday OZ-VK net starts at 0630z – at least at present.
