G3LUW sounded hollow peaking 3.3 at 0748, increasing to 3.4 at 0817.
VK4ZD got 5.5 from Brian, but only touched 2.2 here at 0743. Bill increased to 4.4 here by 0759, 5.5 by 0802 and then 5.7  with slow QSB down to 5.5/7
VK2IWT Noel was no copy here before 0800
F1CFA got 5.5 from Bill but not heard here.
EA7GSU was 5.7/5 with QSB here, gave Jean Pierre 5.9+, gave VK4ZD 5.9+ and got 5.7, gave VK3KCD 5.5/6 and gave VK2IWT 5.3. No copy of Peter here yet.
VK2MCB got 3.1 from Pertti but no trace of Phil here.
HB9CQS was 5.9+20dB with Pertti, but only just recognizable here until 0820 when Klaus rose to 5.9+20dB
ZL1RD was 5.9 with EA7GSU. Rob gave G3LUW 5.5 in exchange for 5.9, and gave VK4ZD 5.9 to 5.9+5/10dB. Rob was only just kicking 1.2 here at 0754 but a clear 5.5 on my spider quad. Rob was 5.6 on my doublet by 0824. Alain gave Rob 5.8.
PA3AHC was a poor 1.1 here at 0747, but 5.7 with Pertti. At 0835 I heard Malcolm at 4.1/2.
PA0SDZ was 5.3 with VK4ZD but not heard here (just) until 0735 at 4.1. By now Les was 5.6 with Bill
F4GHB was 5.7/8 with VK4ZD at 0816 but not heard here. Bill heard me at 5.5 at 0808.
ZL1BFS fluttered in at Q2-3 reaching 5.5 at 0819 having been 5.7 earlier with Pertti.
HB9CQS gave me 5.9+10dB at 0820, 5.9 for Brian, 2.2 for Malcolm, no copy Les and 5.9 for Pertti.
VK3KCD rose from nothing to 5.4 and was 5.9 with Bill.
A rather disappointing net here – closed at 0840.
Happy Wedding Anniversary to Diane and Bill! Bill expected to be back in time for net next Sunday.
Emails have been received from  IV3EZJ who we hope may be on the net next Sunday. Raffaele is starting a ROAR Italian section and perhaps may become the new Magazine Editor.
0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694

G2FUU was net control in rather poor conditions of deep QSB and high noise. Tommy was 5.7/9 QSB here.
Brian G3LUW was 5.9 up to +20dB of QSB here, 5.9 with Tommy in S8 noise.
John G3JJR was 5.9+10dB here, 5.8 with Tommy and 5.9 with Brian.
John G7OAI was 5.9+5dB with QSB here, 5.6 and difficult at times with Brian, only copying Tommy Q2 who gave John 3-4.5.
G0PCF said Brian was in the noise but copiable. Bruce was 4.8 with QSB here.
G0SQH was only 3.7 under noise here but better copy with Brian who talked to Marie and wished both a Happy 50th wedding anniversary!
The net closed at 0935
1800z – 1830z  RIBI evening 80-metre Net on 3,693

I joined late at 1810 to hear Brian G3LUW, John G3JJR, and Tommy G2FUU.
We had a good relaxed chat - I told Brian and John that Peter VK3KCD may be visiting UK again in June this year, in association with a Norwegian cruise. Details later.
Brian was 5.9+30dB here and was 5.9+10dB with Tommy.
Tommy was 5.9+15dB here, and John 5.9+5dB, rather better conditions than this morning.
The net closed at 1830z.
2000z - 2030z  N.AM Transcontinental Net on 14,287

I listened for this net on the long path from VK and whilst I could hear many NA stations on the band I heard nothing from this net. Is there any activity? I haven't seen a report recently.

0730z – 0800z Tuesday 27th January 2015  EUR net on 14,2952

I called in briefly on this net - had a Rotary board meeting to attend

John G3OKT was 55 and gave me 56
Malcol PA3AHC, John G3OKT and Brian G3LUW were audible but not copiable
Phil VK2MCB was 42

Band noise low at S1 with occasional QRN to S7 and QRM from nearby stations.
G3LUW called CQ at 0736 – difficult copy here at 2.2 b/w. He later increased to 5.5.
Brian was 5.1 with EA7GSU who was 5.5 both here and with Brian
HB9CQS only 2.3 here but Klaus was 5.9+10dB with Pertti. Klaus peaked 4.4 here by 0750 but was never stronger.
VK3KCD not heard here but was “very fine 5.6/7” with Klaus. Peter was 1.1 with Pertti, increasing to 5.4 at 0752.
PA3AHC just heard here, was 5.7 with Pertti. VK4ZD could just hear Malcolm.
VK4ZD just detectable here at 0742; was 5.9 with Pertti; increased here to 1.2 at 0745. Bill had no copy of Brian or me.
F1CFA  Jean Pierre just 1.1 here at 0750; exchanged 5.2 b/w with VK3KCD at 0752.
VK2MCB was 5.3 with Pertti; no copy of Phil here, got 5.3 from Klaus and 5.8 from Pertti at 0757
G3LUW was 5.9+10dB with Pertti; gave Klaus 5.7; heard no VKs except VK4ZD at 5.7; just heard Malcolm.
Brian and I left the net at 0800
