High winds had again wrecked my antenna. I heard some activity on the QRG around 0810z, but no stations identifiable.

From John G3OKT I listened at 0950z but frequency clear. If there was a net, it had closed by now.

1200z – 1300z TransAtlantic Net on 14,287/8
From Joe AF1E I listened at 1200 and heard nothing. Was tied up the rest of my day.

Had a great 20-minute QSO on 14.288 at 2000z with Ken NG2H of Palmyra, Virginia, USA. No one else joined us. He gave me 57, I heard him 59. I hope others will start coming on this net.

0730z – 0800z Tuesday 29th December 2015 EUR net on 14,295.2 / 7.136+/-
From Bill VK4ZD
I was unable to be present on this net due to celebrating our daughter Alizah's birthday

Previously, from Phil VK2MCB
I will be there, propagation permitting.
(on the day) Only two of us on the net this evening/morning, due Bill’s absence on important family business and less than stellar propagation. However, Klaus and I had good contact from 0730z.
Klaus was initially 55 with me but steadily climbed briefly to 59 then fell to about 53 by 0800z. He copied me at best 56-7 but I slipped to 51-2 at the end of the net.
I called Pertii and Malcolm but heard nothing from them.
Happy New Year to all!

From Malcolm PA3AHC
Me too.

From John G3OKT
Conditions forecast to be good SFI 112 A 5 K 1 sunspots 64; unfortunately I arrived late. Put out CQ at 0823 as dawn broke, nil response.

73s and a Happy New Year to All!
