I had my rx on the qrg an hour and half in advance and listening Ed,
N4EDT running qso's with good signal. Depending on direction of his
log periodic signal strength varied between S5 - S9+. I broke in
before the official net time and got 55/6 report. At the time of net
opening Joe, W0TBC  joined. He was only 33 with me but his signal grew
to 43 at the end. I was 1,5/1,5 to start but got 42 just before Ed
closed the net.
The band is nicely open to W in the evenings of EU time and should be
possible for many more to break over to Stateside. The opposite side
is also suffering of shortage of voices. Find your microphones,
