From Bill VK4ZD
Peter VK3KCD was initially only 41 but built to 55 by the end of the net. He gave me 52 initially building eventually to 56-7
Phil VK2MCB was 56 and built to 58 - gave me 48 in his high noise level.
Noel VK2IWT and I exchanged 59+ reports
VK2AKA (visitor) called in briefly to make some comments.
Wayne VK4EU (visitor) and I exchange 59+ reports

0730z - 0830z Europe - Anzo Net on 14,295.2 Long Path
From Pertti EA7GSU
It was a great morning ANZO net. I counted 17 check-in's in my log and we were only one non-ROAR fellow.

From John G3OKT
Band was quiet with low (S1) noise from 0727 until 0747 when Bill VK4ZD suddenly “wafted” up to 5.7, disappeared, then came back to 5.9+10dB by 0812.
Bill gave me 5.8/9 at 0840.
Spain saw VK earlier – Henk VK2GWK exchanged 5.6/7 b/w with EA/G4HMG but was not heard here. John EA/G4HMG was 5.8/9 here at 0731.
Brian G3LUW was strong with EA/G4HMG and gave Bill VK4ZD 5.6, Alain F4GHB 5.7 and Phil VK3KCD 5.4.
Jean Pierre F1CFA not hearable here at 0742 but was 5.5 – 5.4 with VK4ZD.
John ZL2JPM not hearable here at 0740 but 5.3 with VK4ZD.
Peter VK3KCD not hearable here but 3.3 with EA/G4HMG and gave John 5.7?
Phil VK2MCB not heard here.
Pertti EA7GSU gave Miika VK/OH2BAD 5.9, and said that VK4ZD grew from 1.1 to 5.9 at 0750! Pertti also gave EA/G4HMG 4.1, 5.9 for both G3LUW and me and was 5.9 himself with me.
Miika VK/OH2BAD gave EA/G4HMG 5.6, VK2GWK 5.6, F1CFA 5.6, VK3KCD 5.8, ZL2JPM 5.4, VK2MCB 5.2 and was 5.7 here. Miika was 5.7 with VK4ZD.
Alain F4GHB was 5.4/5 with me and gave VK2MCB 5.7, F1CFA 4.2 and Henk 5.9.
Malcolm PA3AHC hardly hearable here gave Bill 5.3 and got 3.2
Mike G8LES was 5.9 with both Pertti and me, could not hear VKs, and was 5.9+30dB with EA/G4HMG !
Doug ZL1BFS was 3.5 with me and suffering severe splatter from a station on 14.297. However at 0829 Doug fluttered up to 5.8 with me, got 5.2 from Alain who was 5.6 with Doug; Doug was 5.5 with G3LUW.
Jean Pierre F1CFA was up to 5.9+20 with EA/G4HMG by 0800, gave VK2MCB 5.2 and Henk 5.7
Alain F4GHB was 3.7 with me under splatter from 14.290; got 5.8 from VK4ZD in return for 4.5
Les PA0SDZ now 5.9 here, and exchanged 5.7 b/w with VK4ZD at 0821; Peter VK3KCD was 5.1 with Les, and just hearable here on vertical polarization.
Klaus HB9CQS was 5.9+10 here at 0812, 4.3 with VK4ZD and thought he was robably only emitting 60/70W due to his HPA cutting out under heavy snow!!
At 0837 Pertti gave Bill and me 5.9 but only 4.1 for Klaus; 5.5 for Doug and got 4.4/5.5; Pertti was 5.9+20 with me and Doug was 5.7. Doug gave me 5.8?
The net closed at 0842

Klaus HB9CQS was 43 with snow on the beam
John G3OKT called in towards the end of the net with a massive 58 signal and gave me 59+10

0900z - 1000z UK 80-metre Net on 3,694
From John G3OKT
Brian G3LUW was net control and 5.9+20dB here along with Tommy G2FUU, but some members had difficulty copying others under severe QSB, noise and signal levels which were generally 10dB down.
G7OAI had no copy of G0PCF, and lost both G3LUW and G8LES completely in QSB at times.
Mike G8LES, John G7OAI, and Bruce G0PCF were all 5.9+10
Malcolm PA3AHC and Alain F4GHB were both heard Q5 before I joined the net at 0915, but they were not heard again. Malcolm had been 5.6 with G3LUW.

1200z - 1300z International Net on 14,292
From Pertti EA7GSU
I found the qrg 14292.5kHz empty well in advance of the net time and started to make noises to keep it for myself. Mike, N4PF had rx open and so we
started chatting a bit earlier, at 1155hrs. It was 55/45 (latter=me).
Almost immediately Klaus, HB9CQS joined us with 59/59 signal but said he needs to go early - he had a lunch invitation by his lady friend!
We got another Mike, G8LES joining with 58/57 signals at the same time when Malcolm, PA3AHC was calling as well.
He was 55/57 but found the speech processor later and got juice into the PA improving to 59 in my meter.
It was Mike, G8LES who heard Bert, VE3BGG on qrg. I had the luck to copy some and change the reports, 44/33 but qrm was murdering.
He quitted soon after AF1E, Joe had joined us with 58 both ways.
Sufficiently participants to keep the chatting going until 1250hrs.

1800z – 1830z RIBI evening 80-metre Net on 3,692
From Pertti EA7GSU
We were Tommy G2FUU, Brian G3LUW, John EA/G4HMG and me in the RIBI 80 evening net in quickly changing sunset time propagation at 1800hrs.
Tommy started with 46 improving to 58 towards the end of net, Brian more and less the same but John was close enough to be 59 all the
time. We kept talking the usual half an hour.

2000z - 2030z N.AM Transcontinental Net on 14,287
From Bob WB7RQG
We had 11 check ins. Ed, N4EDT was net control.
The following joined up; Dan, KB6NU Joe, AF1E Linden, KF5YOU Pertti, EA7GSU Cletus, W0WH Joe, W0TBC Dave, AA9PK Jack, KF5BD Matt, AC9PE and me, WB7RQG. I could copy Pertti a little.

From Pertti EA7GSU
The NA net had a great success as well. I took note of more than 12 call signs.
It started with Ed, N4EDT twenty min early with 59 both ways.
Following calls were well received but not contacted: W0TBC, WB7RQG, KB6NU, W0WHH, AC9AP a VP2... and KF5BD.
I changed report with AF1E, Joe who was also 59 giving the same to me. There were more but I missed the calls. The net stayed open until 2046hrs. The net is hampered often by a regular SV - net two kc below us and they just love to torture their PA's splattering S9 on the net qrg. So it was a radio active Sunday as it should be!!

0700z – 0730z Tuesday 4th February NZ 80-m net on 3693

0730z – 0830z Tuesday 4th February EUR net on 7175
The following was received from F1CFA – thanks Jean Pierre “Last Sunday, your signal was growing from 41 to 59 between 8h30 and 9h local time.
Hope that tomorrow we can start at 9h as suggested ?
To be discussed !

From Pertti EA7GSU
Propagations good and noise level low. We were 6 participants, G3LUW appearing on the qrg few minutes earlier with 57 signal.
Joining then were John, EA/G4HMG with 59, J - P, F1CFA coming with force as well and F4GHB, Alain with even stronger appearance.
We kept talking in spite of a EA5- station 5kc's further down splattering. Shortly before we disappeared from the frequency, J - P heard Malcolm with 53 signal.
I had no copy of him. More or less at 0830 I left the band into the hands of J - P, Malcolm and Alain.
Morning temp on "the mountains" was +2ªC, John had the highest, 10ªC.

That’s all for now,
73’s
