Net closed at 0858Z.
Weather was kind to me, being dry for both setting up and taking down the antenna, with a couple of hefty showers whilst operating. The local mollusc rally was still going well as I left...
Thanks to all who came on today and made it all worthwhile!
I'll not be on the next two Sundays, but the 3rd probably OK.

1200z - 1300z International Net on 14,292

2000z - 2030z N.AM Transcontinental Net on 14,287
From Bob WB7RQG
I acted as net control today. We only had three of us; Jack, KF5BD and Joe, W0TBC. We tried to contact Pertti but no success.

From Pertti EA7GSU
I was on the frequency listening but did not hear any traffic on the qrg. I called a couple of times but band was quiet. It made me think
of the summer time change. Was I late?

0700z – 0730z Tuesday 8th April 2014 NZ 80-m net on 3693
(SE Australia and NZ go off summer time on April 6)

0700z – 0730z Tuesday 8th April 2014 EUR net on 7150
From QRZ : SFI 140 A 11 K 2 Sunspots 106 (dropped)
From Pertti EA7GSU
Opening my RX I heard Brian G3LUW calling. He was 56 and gave me 55 in
return. Band was nearly empty (apart of a EA/ syn nearby). Brian
called to get more members but no luck. So after "Good Morning" salute
we left the frequency at 0704z
Would it be better earlier or move to 14MHz?
(Greetings from summery Andalusia. Temps suddenly rose to abt. 25ºC !)

From John G3OKT
Sorry, couldn’t join the net today. I think we have agreement that next week the sked should start at 0700z.

From Jean Pierre F1CFA
I was on frequency this Tuesday morning...But, except the QRM...Nobody from the Roar....
I left to 8h15 Z - you are 1 hour late :) VK4ZD
Better luck next time

That’s all for now,
John G3OKT
